As I stepped down as President of Solera Crew, I was overjoyed to learn that I had been chosen as Peñista del Año.
It is deeply rewarding to see that my work for the San Roque Festivities has been recognised through this unexpected honour. I believe I have earned it through perseverance, dedication and my constant commitment to promoting and defending these wonderful festivities that are San Roque.
It is not because I have been named Peñista del Año that I praise these celebrations more highly. My commitment to them has remained unwavering for many years, wherever I have happened to be.
