How can I possibly express my gratitude for the honour of being named Peñista del Año 1992?
My gratitude is immense—towards everything brought together under that magical and deeply cherished name:
SAINT ROCH!
My thanks go first to my own Euqor Crew, which Saint Roch welcomed as one of its own (although, in truth, every crew belongs to Saint Roch), even if its name happened to be written backwards.
My thanks also go to every crew whose dedication and hard work have made these days in August something that inspires the healthy envy of people from all over Spain.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Los Que Faltaban Crew for putting my name forward for this distinguished honour, and to all the other crews for supporting their proposal.
Now all that remains is to raise a glass of cava in a toast to every crew—and you can be certain that I shall do so—with a heartfelt cry of:
LONG LIVE SAINT ROCH!
LONG LIVE CALATAYUD!
